What is Lambazouk?

Zouk was originated from the dance style Lambada. As the music changed over time, Zouk also underwent transformations. And in recent years, we evidence some lambada coming back into Zouk.

In our workshop, we won't be directly teaching Lambada, but we will focus on instructing Lambada-inspired moves that are currently making waves in the world of Zouk. This fusion of Lambada-inspired movements within the Zouk style has led to the creation of what we call Lambazouk.

These moves are incredibly enjoyable and playful, and we are enthusiastic about incorporating them into our own social dance floor.
